Learning in Lockdown

For some students and teachers in 2021, school was beginning to look a lot like it did before the pandemic. Classes were back in person, and students were still meeting learning goals because they were able to continue learning remotely during the outbreak of the pandemic in 2020. For students and teachers in low-income countries this was not the case. We commissioned videographers in Nigeria, Senegal, and Kenya to capture the stories of kids and teachers where internet access was not guaranteed and remote learning was not an option to showcase how their lives have changed since the outbreak of COVID-19.
